■Announcement of Outstanding Presentation Award Recipients

JSBBA WEST 8th Student Forum was successfully concluded thanks to the generous support and cooperation of all participants. We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone involved.

Following a rigorous review process, the four presenters listed below have been selected as recipients of the Outstanding Presentation Award. We offer our warmest congratulations to all the awardees.

第8回日本農芸化学会西日本支部学生フォーラムは、多くの皆様のご協力により盛会裡に終了いたしました。関係各位に深く感謝申し上げます。厳正な審査の結果、下記4名の発表者が優秀発表賞に選出されました。ここにお知らせするとともに、受賞者の皆様に心よりお祝い申し上げます。

受賞者の今後ますますの活躍を期待するとともに、本支部の活動への一層のご支援を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。

This forum aims to enhance students’ international communication skills and presentation abilities. All proceedings and presentations of the forum will be conducted in English, and the entire event will be student-led. Continuing from last year, the forum will be held online. Participants from distant locations are welcome, so please do not hesitate to apply.
JSBBA WEST Student Forumは、学生の国際的なコミュニケーション能力と発表力の向上を目的としたフォーラムです。講演の進行と発表はすべて「英語」、運営はすべて「学生主導」で行います。昨年に引き続きWebにて開催いたします。遠方の方もどうぞ奮ってお申し込みください。

Tentative Schedule:

  • 08:50–09:00 Opening Speech

  • 09:00–10:15 Oral Presentations for Excellent Presentation Award (Undergraduate & Master’s Divisions, 5 presentations × 2 sessions)

  • 10:15–10:30 Break

  • 10:30–11:30 Oral Presentations for Excellent Presentation Award (Doctoral Division, 4 presentations)

  • 10:30–12:18 General Presentations (9 presentations)

  • 12:25–12:35 Award Ceremony and Closing Remarks by the Branch Director

  • 12:35–12:40 Closing Speech

Each presentation for the Excellent Presentation Award consists of a 9-minute talk and a 5-minute Q&A session.
General presentations consist of a 9-minute talk and a 2-minute Q&A session.

※Among the oral presentations by students, outstanding presentations will be awarded the Excellent Presentation Award. This award is entry-based.When completing the registration form, please select either “General Presentation” or “Entry for Excellent Presentation Award.”

■ (NOTICE!)Entry Requirements for the Excellent Presentation Award:(優秀発表賞エントリー条件)
-Up to two applicants per laboratory. Either the presenter or the academic advisor must be a member of the Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry (JSBBA).
-Those who have already received the award in the same course of study are not eligible to apply.
-If a non-member receives the award, he/she will be required to join the JSBBA as a student member.
エントリーは1研究室2名まで。発表者または指導教員は、日本農芸化学会の会員である必要があります。
過去に同一課程で受賞された方はエントリーできません。 非会員の方で受賞した場合には、学生会員に入会していただきます。

A Zoom connection test is scheduled for the day before the presentations (Friday, November 28, in the afternoon). The information for the connection test as well as the Zoom access details for the day of the event will be sent in advance to the registered e-mail address.
発表前日（11月28日（金）午後）にZoom接続テストを行う予定です。事前接続テストおよび当日のZoom接続情報は登録されたメールアドレスへ事前に送信予定です。
